Give Today to Help Us Soar Into the Next 25 Years

This year marks Ojai Raptor Center’s 25th anniversary and the retirement of our founder, Kimberly Stroud. What began as a grassroots operation in her backyard in 2000 has grown into one of California’s leading wildlife rehabilitation organizations.

Over the past 25 years, ORC has cared for more than 28,000 wild animals, rehabilitated an average of 1,100 raptors each year, and built the largest flight enclosure in Central and Southern California. We’ve inspired thousands of students through science-based education programs, placed hundreds of nesting boxes to provide habitat and sustainable rodent control, and trained the next generation of conservationists through internships, externships, and volunteer programs.

The Next Chapter Begins With You

As we celebrate 25 years of ORC and honor Kim’s extraordinary legacy, we invite you to help carry it forward. Your gift to A Legacy in Flight will ensure ORC can continue to:

  • Rescuing and rehabilitating injured raptors
  • Inspiring youth through environmental education
  • Protecting wildlife and habitat for generations to come

A Legacy Worth Lifting

Kim Stroud’s vision gave Ojai Raptor Center its wings. For 25 years, that vision has been nurtured by people like you—people who believe in protecting wildlife, educating communities, and preserving the natural world for generations to come.

Now, it’s time to help that vision soar even higher.

Your gift to A Legacy in Flight will help shape the next 25 years of wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education, and conservation at ORC, and ensure that our vital work can continue to soar for decades

Give Today. Carry the Legacy Forward.

Together we can carry forward Kim's inspiring legacy and give the next generation of raptors -and the people who care about them- a future filled with hope.
