Help secure the next 25 Years of Wildlife, Education & Conservation
Ojai Raptor Center is turning 25! After a quarter century of extraordinary leadership, our founder and Executive Director, Kimberly Stroud, will be stepping down. This milestone is both a moment to celebrate how far we have come, growing from a small grassroots effort into a leading center for wildlife rehabilitation, education, and conservation, and to look towards the future. We invite you to join us at our 25th Anniversary Benefit where we will honor Kim's legacy, celebrate our past, and raise funds to secure the next 25 years of wildlife rehabilitation, conservation, and environmental education.
Pull On Your Boots and Celebrate a Legacy.
Join us for Boots & Talons: 25th Anniversary Benefit—a one-of-a-kind rustic outdoor celebration honoring Kim’s legacy, and securing the future as we raise the vital funds needed to carry our mission forward for the next 25 years.
Guests will enjoy:
- Local wine and food, heavy appetizers, and small bites
- Two bars with specialty cocktails
- A silent auction and paddle raise
- “ORC Through the Years” showcase reflecting on 25 years of impact
- A "Rustic Chic" dress code (or wear what you like—boots are optional)
- Live music by the band, Olas Perdidas
About Olas Perdidas
Olas Perdidas is an innovative new band that fuses the vibrant, rhythmic traditions of Son Jarocho from Veracruz, Mexico, with the cinematic, evocative sounds of spaghetti Western music. Blending the lively strums of the jarana and requinto with the haunting twang of guitars and dramatic flair of Ennio Morricone-inspired compositions, Olas Perdidas creates a unique soundscape that bridges coastal Mexican folk and the rugged, dusty trails of the Wild West. Get ready for a musical journey that's both soulful and adventurous!
Olas Perdidas is encompassed by: Todd Hannigan, Xocoyotzin Moraza, Jesse Siebenberg, Lenny Castro, Austin Beede, Sam Bolle, and Mario Calire.
